The real stars of the show are my dogs, but since you clicked on this page, I guess I had better say a few words about myself!

In 2023 I decided to get serious about photography after a dear friend asked me to take photos of a litter of puppies she was expecting in the next few months. I had done a session for her previously when I picked Dusty out from one of her litters, but I hardly knew anything about photography at the time. I decided for the new photoshoot to seek out some help. I stumbled across a You Tube channel run by the world-renowned pet photographer, Jess McGovern from the UK. Talk about a life changing experience. I quickly absorbed any and all info I possibly could from her and took all of her amazing courses. She not only taught me everything I know, she also encouraged me to really get out there and try competition. The rest as they say, is history. I don't think she'll ever know just how much she changed my life for the better. Thank you Jess. I couldn't have done it without you. I am blessed to be able to call you a friend.

I started off doing mostly outdoor pet portraits, but really was intrigued with studio work. Sadly, I had very little room to do this, so I was very limited at first. By shear luck, in early 2026 I was able to get a new piece of land that joined to my current property and had an off-grid hunting cabin on it. It was the perfect place for a dedicated photography studio!

Since then I have absolutley fallen in love with studio work and the endless possibilites to bring my ideas to life!
